What is MoteOS?
MoteOS is a cloud AI desktop operating system. Every account is a private computer: a kernel-isolated gVisor sandbox with its own file volume, terminal, browser, and desktop apps. Autonomous agents work inside it. They write and run code, operate real applications, browse the web with your logins, and build installable apps from a single prompt. Agents keep working while you are away, and every file they produce stays yours. Your content is never used to train models.

How is MoteOS different from Manus or Cursor?
Those are chat interfaces to an agent. MoteOS is a full desktop operating system, so agents work inside a real computer: they open apps, use a terminal, and browse the web the way you would. The files, apps, and workspace they build stay in your account.
What can the agents actually do?
They write and run code, drive a real browser with your logins, and operate desktop apps with a visible cursor you can take back. They build installable apps, run scheduled jobs, and keep working after you close the window. Everything happens inside your own sandbox, on your own file volume.
Is my data isolated? Is it used for training?
Every account runs in its own kernel-isolated gVisor sandbox with a private file volume, so nothing is shared between users. Your content is never used to train models. The one exception is when you bring your own API key, where the terms of your chosen provider apply.
What AI models power MoteOS?
Managed frontier models, with no API key setup. Different jobs are routed to the model that suits them, so chat, translation, and speech do not all run on the same one. You can also bring your own keys, which comes with a billing discount.
How do I get an invite?
Email us. The invite button opens a prefilled message, and telling us what you want to build helps us get to you sooner. Invites go out in batches during the beta.
Does it run on Windows?
Today MoteOS runs as a macOS desktop app and in any modern browser, so Windows and Linux users can work in the browser now. A Windows desktop build is in progress.
