MoteOS for iOS Changelog
New features, changes and fixes in each MoteOS release.
v0.1.2 (build 7)
2026-10-28
Improved
- Wide tables in Chats get an expand button that opens them full screen, with a pinned header, landscape on iPhone, and copy as Markdown or as a table for Numbers and Excel.
Bug fixes
- Market’s Installed list no longer keeps a MiniApp you uninstalled from Home or the app’s settings.
v0.1.2 (build 6)
2026-10-28
Added
- New Mail app on iPhone and iPad: add an account with a provider preset and an app password, then read a unified inbox and threaded conversations, swipe to archive, delete or star with undo, search with the same operators as on the desktop, and undo send. Remote images stay blocked until you show them or trust the sender. On iPad, Mail opens in three columns.
- On an account set to ask first, mail an agent wants to send waits at the top of Mail with Send, Edit and Don’t Send, and a notification takes you straight there.
- Mail settings cover the agent send policy, how much mail to keep offline, the cache size, your signature and password. Long-press a folder to keep it available offline.
- Synapse, Atelier and Maestro now run on your own assistant, Motchi, with no separate agent to hire.
- Chats adds a Selection filter that lists chats started from the desktop’s selection toolbar, and you can carry on with them on your phone.
- Grimoire can sort the Inbox by date added or by name, and the choice is shared with the desktop.
- Hey members can add each other as friends from a member’s avatar in a group. Group owners can turn this off.
- Settings links to the MoteOS changelog under Support.
Changed
- Home is now edited in place, like the iPhone Home Screen: long-press a tile or tap Edit Home, drag tiles to reorder them, tap the minus badge to take a shortcut off Home without uninstalling the app, and tap + to add apps. Home holds 15 shortcuts plus All, so a new account starts with every built-in app.
- Notifications and Live Activities from an assistant you never renamed now say Motchi, and your own agents can no longer take that name.
Improved
- A Maestro deck you start or revise on your iPhone gets going right away, without waiting for it to be opened on a computer.
- Agent reminder notifications show a clean one-line summary in your language instead of raw code or error output.
- When your credits run out, Chats and apps say that is why the reply stopped.
- Market reports far fewer outages and loads its icons and images faster.
Bug fixes
- MiniApp icons drawn as SVG now appear on Home and in Market instead of an empty tile.
- Maestro, Calendar and MiniApp chats no longer show up as ordinary chats in Chats, search and Shortcuts.
- Changing your display name no longer fails with a sync error.
- Accepting an Idea Box invite for a project you already joined no longer shows an error.
